Sands Property Group was established by the licensee Shaun Smith. Luwis joined our group bringing with him over 15 years experience from within the Financial advice sector. Working with strong business knowledge, ethics and a professional attitude to ensure all clients and partners in business achieve their life goals.

Luwis has worked as a financial advisor in both independent advice practices as well as the banking environment. Successfully managing other financial advisors and also operating a successful and highly compliant business of his own.
Luwis spent 3 years, overseas in Asia playing Professional Golf on the Asian tour. Which included time in operational management and design of some of Asia’s most lucrative golf courses, which led to him managing teams of over 800 employees. Whilst overseas Luwis successfully operated a consulting company with the purpose for foreign investors to enter the Australian market and worked as a part of a successful consultation team. He returned to Australia to continue his true passion of property and finance.

Luwis brings a holistic approach to property specialising in investment property to ensure client’s retirement objectives are achieved through property. Luwis does not believe in carrying property debt through till retirement with his vast financial expertise and strategies he is our point of contact for investment properties.

In his spare time, between Property sales and renovating, he loves to travel, play golf, and fish, but probably should give up the fishing as the objective is to catch fish, not feed them.
